Harold E. “Whitey” Nolen, age 67, of Weatherford, died on Tuesday evening, April 22, 2008 in a Fort Worth Hospital.
Born on September 18, 1940 in Houston, Nolen was a resident of Parker County for several years. He was a successful race horse trainer, a member of the Race Track Chapel at Lone Star Park, who loved horses and all animals. Nolen cherished friendships and he loved people.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Nolen of Weatherford; brother, Richard Nolen of Ruidoso, N.M.; and two grandchildren, Kacy Young and Cheryl Young of Weatherford.
