D.V. Klein Jr. died on Thursday, August 28, 2008, in Fort Worth.
Klein was born on September 23, 1935 in Springtown, the son of late D.V. Klein Sr. and Lera Boren Klein. He attended Weatherford and Denton Colleges. He retired after 30 years of service in the United States Navy. After his retirement, he worked for Dynell Electronics for six years.
The family thanked the nurses and staff of The Courtyards at Fort Worth.
Survivors include sisters, Eva Lee Pyle and husband, Dwight, of Springtown and Susie Stewart and Wayne Darsey of Benbrook; nephews, Marty Pyle, Ned Pyle and Shawn Stewart; niece, Angela Bollman; two great-nieces, three great-nephews; and several cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Jimmy Klein.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 30, 2008, in White’s Springtown Chapel. Interment was in Springtown Cemetery.
