Grand Prairie woman arrested in undercover drug purchase

From the Parker County Sheriff's Office

Weatherford Parker County Special Crimes Investigators arrested a Grand Prairie woman on Saturday night, July 12 on charges of Delivery of Controlled Substance in an undercover drug buy. Sheriff Larry Fowler said 48-year-old Teresa Collins Milligan was charged in the case stemming from intelligence gathering and surveillance by SCU investigators into suspected narcotics activities by the woman.

Lt. Mike Camp said investigators arranged to purchase $1,250 worth of pharmaceutical drugs from the suspect along with a small quantity of crack cocaine at an arranged meeting with the suspect around 8 p.m. Saturday in the 5000 block of Interstate 20 in Parker County. Once the transaction was made SCU and Fugitive Investigators moved in to make the arrest, detaining a passenger in the suspect's vehicle with a two-year-old child. The female passenger was not taken into custody Saturday but charges are expected to be filed against her as well.

According to Camp, investigators seized about 180 pills suspected to be Vicadin, Hydrocodone and Xanax as well as a small quantity of suspected crack cocaine in the arrest. Milligan was transported to the Parker County Justice Center where she remains in custody in lieu of $25,000 bail. Milligan is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substance Pharmaceuticals under 200 grams and Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substance (Cocaine) under 1 gram.

Sheriff Fowler said the drug exhibits would be submitted to the Crime Lab for analysis and the cases referred to the Grand Jury.
