BE IT KNOWN, the HONORABLE COMMISSIONERS COURT of PARKER COUNTY, TEXAS, will convene in a REGULAR MEETING at 9:00 A.M. on MONDAY the 12th day of MAY 2008 in the COMMISSIONER COURTROOM on the FIRST FLOOR of the COURTHOUSE, ONE COURTHOUSE SQUARE, WEATHERFORD, TEXAS,

TO CONSIDER, DISCUSS AND/OR ACT UPON THE FOLLOWING AGENDA ITEMS:

1. ROUTINE BUSINESS: (a.) Payment of routine bills as presented by the auditor; (b). certification of revenues as presented by the auditor; (c.) line item budget amendments as presented by the auditor; (d.) prior approval/disapproval of purchases; (e.) approval of payroll, payments for insurance, employee health clinic, retirement; (f.) accept or reject bids; (g.) authorization to advertise bids for purchases as listed; (h.) accept or release pledged securities; (i.) 2. Update on:
a. Parker County Jail Expansion Project and take any action court deems necessary.

b. Execute the Addendum to Road Repair Contract with the City of

5. Accept:
a. Draft from Conoco Phillips for the 1 acre lease contract located in Precinct #2.

c. Presentation and acceptance of the annual audit from Parker County ESD #1.

6. Authorization:
a. Declare county property as surplus and authorize Purchasing Agent to include in the next on-line auction scheduled for May 12-30, 2008. (Deena Nichols/Judge Riley)
b. Lease/purchase Asphalt Zipper from Asphalt Zipper, Inc. for Precinct Two through the HGAC Purchasing Co-op and finance Asphalt Zipper for Precinct Two with Government Capital Corporation. (Deena Nichols/Judge Riley)
c. Enter into an Interlocal Purchasing Agreement with Stephens County.

d. Enter into agreement with NCTCOG for advance funding for Transportation Bond Planning. (Deena Nichols/Judge Riley)

7. Process for developing agreements with municipalities as to ETJ development. (Judge Riley)

8. Accept donation from The Community Foundation of North Texas in the amount of $75,000.00 for the Parker County Sheriff’s Department. (Judge Riley)

9. EXECUTIVE SESSION: In accordance with Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code, the Parker
County Commissioners Court will meet in CLOSED SESSION to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property for county purposes. At the conclusion of the closed session the Commissioners Court will reconvene in OPEN SESSION to make any decisions or take any action considered appropriate regarding said matter discussed in closed session.
