Jean Ann MutchlerJean Ann Mutchler, 74, of Weatherford, died on Friday, May 2, 2008, at Weatherford Regional Medical Center.
Born on September 19, 1933, in Yankton, S.D., she was a resident of Parker County for many years. Mutchler was a repair technician for Ben Hogan Golf and later worked for the Parker County Courthouse for six years.
She enjoyed painting, gardening and was an honorary member of the Granbury Master Gardeners.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James E. Mutchler of Weatherford; daughters, Karen Bierle of Fort Worth, Mary Clair VanDeaver of Sanders, Ariz., and Brenda Chambers of Fort Worth; sons, Larry Mutchler of Trent, S.D., Brian Mutchler of Yankton, S.D., asnd Mark Mutchler of Granbury; brother, Robert Murray of Granbury; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Phalen; father, Clair Murray; grandson, Aaron Mutchler and son-in-law, Daniel Bierle.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday May 7, 2008, in the Holly Hills Memorial Park Chapel in Granbury. Entombment was in Holly Hills Memorial Park. Galbreaith Pickard was in charge of arrangements.
