NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
IH 20 and IH 30
From FM 1187 to SP 580

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will
conduct a public meeting on Monday, May 12, 2008 from
6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Vandagriff Elementary School
Cafeteria, 408 FM 1187 S., in Aledo. The purpose of the meeting
is to provide information regarding the proposed improvements
to IH 20 and IH 30 from FM 1187 in Parker County
to SP 580 in Tarrant County. The improvements consist of
the addition of turn lanes and permanent traffic signals at the
intersection of IH 20 and FM 1187 and the conversion of the
frontage roads, between FM 1187 and SP 580, from two-way to
one-way operation.

The format will be “come and go” with exhibits available for viewing
and representatives available to address your questions. No
formal presentation will be provided. The opportunity will also be
available for individuals to provide written comments or questions.

All interested citizens are invited to attend this meeting to
express their views and to discuss the project with representatives
of TxDOT. Persons interested in attending the meeting
who have special communication or accommodation needs are
encouraged to contact TxDOT at (817) 370-6610. Since the
public meeting will be conducted in English, any requests for
language interpreters or other special communication needs
should also be made at least 72 hours prior to the public meeting.
TxDOT will make every reasonable effort to accommodate
these needs.
